Covering the anatomy & major organs, journey of medication through the body, how medication works and factors affecting medication action, medical & pharmacological terms, high risk drug therapy groups, sources of information, adverse drug reactions, greater awareness and understanding of diabetes, pain, antipsychotic and anticoagulant medication, controlled drug management, end-of-life medication principles and guidance, risk assessment, medication error and incident management, route cause analysis and group discussion working through case studies using knowledge in practice.
