Emergency Medication Module
The aim of our Emergency Medication Module is to provide staff with sufficient knowledge to enable the safe & effective management of emergency medication
After completeing the module staff will:
- Know about anaphylaxis & how to administer an EpiPen
- Know about epilepsy & how to administer buccal midazolam
- Know about asthma & how to administer salbutamol
The module is delivered by a pharmacist or pharmacy technician and is 2.5 hours in duration,
a workbook is provided and a certificate is issued upon successful completion of the multi choice assessment.
