Theory & Competency Module

(Key/Domiciliary Module+Assessing Competency Module Combined)

We can provide your staff with the accredited theoretical knowledge they need to administer medication with our Key Medication Module (for care settings) or our Domiciliary Medication Module (for care agencies)

They then must be "signed-off" as being competent to practically administer medication by their line manager.

This is a task that should be done in "real-time" during a drug round.

As we don't work in your care setting or have knowledge of your individual medication policy our Assessing Competency Module furnishes line managers with the necessary knowledge and our Competency Assessment Tool to enable them to carry this out with confidence.

This provides you with a record, evidence and documentation to demonstrate to CQC that your staff have had adequate training and are capable of administering medication.
